Une page avec les Royale Gateway Die


Ce mois-ci Heartfelt Creations avait une sortie spéciale de produit.  Il s'agissait de découpes en forme de de barrière.  Je trouvais qu'elle convenait bien a une page de mariage. J'ai agrémenté le tout de fleurs Wild Rose que j'aime tellement.

Instructions: The finished layout measures 12 inches by 12 inches. Take paper #8 from the Sweet Magnolia collection and cut it to have a 11 3/4 x 11 3/4 inch square. Lightly distress the edges with a tool designed for this purpose or simply use the blade of a scissor. Glue this paper on a 12 x 12 white Deluxe flower Shaping Paper. Using a sewing machine, stitch all around this paper.

Then cut a 7 3/4” x 11” paper from paper #5B from the same collection. Using a sewing machine, stitch all around this paper. Lightly distress the edge and glue this paper on your base. Cut 2 doilies from the Butterfly Kisses Decorative Die. Cut in 2 and glue  under this paper, one under the top border and one under the bottom border.

Glue your picture on  white cardstock. Distress the edges of this cardstock. Glue on your layout. Die cut a Royale Gateway Die in a deluxe flower shaping paper and color it with Nuvo mousse Pure Platinium. Glue it on the base.

Make the Wild Rose Flowers (2 big, 1 medium and 2 small). Stamp using Plum ink onto flower shaping paper (for the biggest ones, for the others use New sprout ink), colour the centre with New Sprout ink and shade the rest of the flower using Plum ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and add stamens (I color my white stamens with the 2 inks I used), secure with hot glue. Put a little bit of shimmer effect on the flowers with the Nuvo aqua shimmer glitter gloss pen. Also make 6 leaves with leaf green ink.

Make 8 littles flowers from French Cottage Collection: Stamp using Plum ink onto flower shaping paper and shade the rest of the flower using the same ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and add stamens.

Make 3 littles flowers from Wild Aster Collection: Stamp using Plum ink onto Art foam paper with plum ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Heat a little bit with heat gun and give further shape with your fingers. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and add stamens. Also stamp and cut in leaf green on a white cardstock 5 aster sprays from the same collection. Color with plum ink diluted in water.

Put cheesecloth and sewing thread next to the gateway and glue your flowers, spray and leaves over it. Repeat for a small bouquet at the left of your picture.

With the hydra sponge, put some white gesso randomly on your layout. Add little droplets of ink with a brush charged with water.

To finish your layout, stamp a sentiment in plum on a pink paper. Glue it with 3D foam on a green paper a little bit larger. Add a decorative border under it from Ornamental Tags Die. Add 2 littles flowers under your sentiment. For the final touch, add little droplets of Nuvo crystal drops white and ribbon throughout your bouquet.

Carte Happy Birthday


Aujourd'hui je vous présente une carte d'anniversaire faite avec mes fleurs préférés, les Wild Roses .  Je les adore !!!!

Instructions: The finished card measure 5 x 7". For the base of your card choose a 5 x 7" Gateway Fold Card – White. With the Teardrop Lattice Gateway, diecut 2 pieces of paper #6B with the biggest die and one from the paper #1B. Ink the edge of all the paper with the French ultramarine ink and a dauber. Glue on the card base. Cut a gateway from the Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die in the sheet #11B. Ink the edge with blue ink and glue on the front of the card. From the Lattice Flourish Gateway Die, die cut the Sentiment ‘Happy Birthday’ on white cardstock 6 times. Glue on each other. Ink in blue and in yellow and glue on the front of the card.

From the Eyelet Frame Gateway Die, cut 2 borders from 11B sheet (one larger than the other). Ink the edge in blue and glue on the 2 last panels. Die cut a piece from the Lattice Flourish Gateway Die from the same 11B sheet. Glue only the base and the edge on the last panel to make a little pocket to receive money or gift card you want to give as a gift.

Make flowers from the Wild Rose Collection. Stamp your flowers with French ultramarine ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the centre with yellow ink and shade the rest of the flower using ultramarine. Color the reverse of the flowers and diecut with the coordinate die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Put glue in the center of the flowers and add rock candy stamens and rose hip stamen dipped in the crystal powder. (I used 3 larges petals to make a flower.) I also do three smaller flowers.

Make tiny flowers in red and navy blue by using the French Cottage Collection and white stamens. Also do leaves from the Floral Shoppe collection and use the fern green ink. Glue your flowers on the front of the card and add leaves to fill the empty space. (Add cheesecloth and sewing thread under your flowers.)

To add the finishing touch, add tiny flowers on the last page of the card.

Mes amours, ma fierté

Je vous présente ma première page de 2021. Une avec ma belle gang, mes beaux enfants. Une photo prise par une belle journée d'automne sur la plage de notre beau lac Pohénégamook.

Instructions: The finished layout measure 12 inches by 12 inches. For your background, use the paper #10B. Hand tear a piece of 7 x 12 inch paper (sheet #9B) and glue it in the center. Also hand tear a piece of 4 1/2 x 12inch in the sheet 8B and glue it in the center over the 9B. Cut a 6 x 4 1/2 inch in the 7B sheet and distress the edge with the appropriate tool (or with the blade of a scissors). Give an angle and glue it under your picture. Then glue this in the center of your layout with 3D foam to give dimension. Under the picture, glue a border you already cut in white cardstock with the Sweetheart Borders.

Stamp various elements from the Floral Shoppe Collection and cut with the appropriate dies. I use the ink colors: navy and dusty durango and french ultramarine ink. Make a lot of them to be able to fill your flower bunches just like you want.

Stamp your Wild Rose flowers with French ultramarine ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the centre with dusty Durango ink and shade the edge using blue. Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Glue 3 layers together. In the center of the flowers make a hole and add stamens. (I made 2 big flowers 3 smaller ones).

Make flowers from French Cottage Collection . Stamp your flowers with navy blue ink onto deluxe flower shaping paper, color the flowers with the same color. Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown, spritz with water and give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Make a hole in the center and add 1 white stamen in the center. Use 2 layers to make one flower. (I made 4 small flowers).

Made 2 flowers with the classic rose kit. Stamp your flowers with rusty durango ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the edge with the same ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Put glue in the center of the flowers and add stamens.

Make 3 flowers with the Sweet Peonies kit. Stamp your flowers with french ultramarine ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the edge with the same ink. Diecut with the coordinating die. Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. Put glue in the center of the flowers and add stamens. (I made 2 big and 1 smaller one).

With a hot glue gun, glue all yours flowers and the element from the Floral Shoppe Collection on each side of your picture. (Put cheesecloth and sewing thread under the flowers before glue them). Add a title with lettering on the opposites corner of the layout.

To add the final touch, add little gold beads all around the flowers.

Instructions: The finished card measure 6 x 6”. For the base of your card use 6 x 6 Swing Fold Card-White. Cut 3 pieces of 6 x 6” in paper # 11B. Lightly ink the edge of the paper with Vivid Chartreuse ink. Glue it on your card base (one on the front and two inside). Cut a big circle with the rounded sunlight window die in the paper # 8B. Ink the edge also with the vivid chartreuse ink and glue it inside the card. Cut a big circle in gold paper with the Rounded Eyelet Window die. Glue it on the front round base. Cut 2 half circles with the same kit of die in the paper #3B and glue it on the gold circle.

Cut a green paper (#8B) with Ornate just for you die. Stamp the coordinating stamp with Pink Peony ink on a white cardstock and cut with the appropriate die. Glue it on the green diecut and glue this sentiment onto the front of the card.

Stamp your flowers from the Wild Rose collection with coral ink onto white flower shaping paper, color the center with vivid chartreuse ink and shade the rest of the flower using coral ink. Color the reverse of the flowers and diecut with the coordinating die. (Do the same thing for the leaves and use the green ink vivid chartreuse). Place facedown into the flower shaping mold, spritz with water and run through the diecutting machine to shape. When dry, give further shape with Deluxe flower shaping kit tools. (I used 3 petals for each flower). Put nice white and green candy rock stamens in the center of your flowers. Put glue on your flower with hydra sponge and add glitter on it. In the same way, make two little flowers with the French cottage collection.

Glue 3 flowers and 2 leaves on the right of your card, next to the sentiment. You can also add two little flowers made with the French Cottage Collection kit on the left corner of the card (one green, one coral). To add the finishing touch, simply add lace, ribbon and green stamens! Inside the card, stamp a sentiment with green ink from the Elaborate Birthday cling stamp set.
