Other Products: Die cutting machine, Gutermann sewing thread, water mister, hot glue gun, hot glue, scissors, diecutting machine, sequins, Stampin’pad old olive, Stampin’pad night of navy, Strathmore watercolor paper
For more tips on creating with the Wilderness Retreat Collection watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/wJ3oZUANnE8.
Instructions: The finished card measure 5 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. Cut the card base from blue paper from Wilderness Retreat Collection (9 inches by 5 1/2 inches and score at 4 1/2 inches on the longer side. Fold to make a vertical folding card.
Cut a 5 x 4 piece of Strathmore Watercolor paper. Stamp the green and blue ink pad randomly on the tree of the Create a ‘scape Backcountry stamp (only the tree). Spray a little water on the stamp and apply it directly to the watercolor paper. Repeat several times, aligning the trees to look like a forest. Subsequently, with a paintbrush and water, apply ink to give watercolor effect under the trees. Let dry.
Die cut 2 ornamental doilies from the Ornemental Tags kit using white cardstock and glue them under the piece of watercolor paper. Glue on the base card with 3D foam to give dimension to the card.
Add sewing thread and sequin on your card. Cut a sentiment from the Wilderness Retreat Paper Collections and glue it in the right corner of the card with a little bit of doilies cut from the ornamental tag die under it.
