How beautiful you are to me

La nouvelle collection de Heartfelt Creations est assurément une que j'adore avec ses jolies marguerites !!!

C'est pourquoi j'ai eu le goût de faire une page en utilisant une photo de ma fille ou on l'a voit cueillir cette même fleur.

Les marguerites sont vraiment très simples à faire à la Amin et elles ont un superbes look une fois terminées !

Et que dire des petits soupir de bébé qui viennent ajouter une touche toute simple à la page !

Voici donc les éléments que j'ai utilisés pour faire cette page ainsi que les instructions pour faire celle-ci.

Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this layout. Take a green 12x12" sheet from the Wild Aster collection for the background of your layout. Hand tear two other strips of different papers in shades of pink and glue it down to your background paper.

Stamp the Wild Aster flowers with archival cactus flower and leaves with archival fern green ink on white card stock. Color with a dauber in the same color. You can add a touch of archival ink sunflower in the center of the flower. Cut with the coordinating die. Shape the flowers by using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Add Heart of Gold Prills in the center of the flowers (use white glue). Also stamp, cut and color little flowers with the Wild Aster spray stamp and die sets.. 

Using white cardstock, cut a little doily from the Butterfly kisses die. Also cut a sentiment from one of the papers from the Wild Aster collection.

On the background paper, add a little bit of cheesecloth and glue your picture over it. Then, glue your flowers, sewing thread, foliage, fair and sequin all around your picture. Add the half of your doilie under your picture, and the other half under the sentiment.

In the right corner, tear two other small pieces of paper, and arrange flower, leaf, sequin and thread on the torn paper. 

You can add a little touch of white with a stencil and a little bit of modeling paste around your flowers for the final touch.

Aujourd'hui j'ai voulu vous montrer que même si l'on utilise une collection de Noel, il n'est pas nécessaire de faire des pages fautives de Noel avec !  On peut tout simplement faire une page ordinaire !  C'est ce que j'ai fait ici en faisant une jolie page toutes fleuries en bleu et rouge.  Les couleurs du papier se marient magnifiquement bien avec les couleurs de ma photo !

Instructions: Take a green 12 x 12 sheet from the Candy cane Cottage Collection for the background of your layout. Hand-tear three other strips of different papers from this collection in shades of dark green, red and blue and glue it in the left side of your background paper. Also add three smaller pieces of the same torn paper on the right side of your layout as shown.

Start by applying a little bit of white gesso with water on your sheet to protect it because you want to work with liquid ink on your background paper. With a brush apply blue ink on the place you want to put your picture and a little bit in the right corner. Add water to dilute the ink. Dry with a heat gun. Then make droplets of blue ink and white gesso by shaking a brush gorged with ink over the sheet. Your background is ready.

Create 3 different kinds of flowers: Oakberry lane in blue, Cherry Blossoms in red and Purr-fect Posies in red. Stamp the flowers and leaves with black archival ink on white card stock. Color the petals with the color you choose and the leaves with the green ink. Cut with the coordinating dies. Shape the flowers by using the 3D Shaping Mold and give further shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit tools. Add stamens in the center of the flowers.

Glue your picture on your layout with 3D foam to give dimension. Glue your flowers and leaes all around it. (put sewing thread and cheesecloth under your flowers before gluing).

Emboss a chipboard to make a title for your layout. Use 2 different colors of embossing powder (red and blue) to give a funny look. Glue it in the right corner and also arrange flowers, leaves, sequin and thread next to your title.

You can add red and blue sequins all around your flowers for the final touch.

Aujourd'hui je vous présente un petit tag de Noel faite avec les produits de la Collection Candy Cane Cottage. La maison en pain d'épice est magnifique et on peut s'amuser à la colorier aux couleurs de notre choix !

Instructions: Tag size is 6 x 4". From the Candy Cane paper Collection , die cut the tag with the Album Tag and Accents die using the large and small tag. Glue those 2 papers  on top of each other.

Stamp a house from the Candy Cane Cottage stamp set and color it with pencil or markers. Die cut it with the appropriate die. Cut more elements (windows, roofs, door) and glue all over the original with 3D foam to give dimension to your house. Add glossy accent to the “snow” and let it dry. Cut a border from the Heart of joy decorative die and cut it in 2 pieces. Glue on each side of the house.

On white card stock, stamp and cut flowers with the Purr-fect Posies stamps and dies. Color the petals with stampin’pad cherry cobbler. Shape the flowers by using the 3D Shaping Mold and give further shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit tools. Add red stamens in the centre of the flowers.

Put a cheesecloth and sewing thread in the center of your paper and glue your house over it.  Use 3D foam to glue the house on the tag. Paste on your house the flowers you just made.  Add a little bit of Ice stickles on your background.

Cut 1 ticket in the paper and add it to your layout as a sentiment.  Finish by adding thread and ribbon in the hole of your tag to complete it.

Aujourd'hui je vous présente une petite carte faite pour le mini-challenge de More than words d'août. Je suis une des rares à apprécier la couleur brune das l'univers du scrap !  J'aime le petit coté vintage que donne cette couleur.  Et puis, on fait ce loisirs pour se faire plaisir à soi non ?

Cette rose a été fabriquée en papier avec les die et mold de la compagnie Heartfelt Creations.

Instructions: The finished card measure 6 inches by 6 inches. Cut the card base from white card stock to 12 inches by 6 inches and score at 6 inches on the longer side. Fold to make a vertical top folding card. Cut a 6 x 6 inch piece of pattern paper from Candy Cane Cottage Collection and glue it to the card base. Apply glossy accent on the stiped side of the paper to give volume to the card’s contour.

In a red paper use the Stitched accents die to cut 2 frames. Glue together with 3D foam to give dimension to your frame. Cut designer paper with a nice scene. Emboss a sentiment (I chose Merry Christmas) on it with a blue wow embossing powder.  Put it under the frame.  Glue it on your card base with 3D foam.

Stamp the Christmas poinsettia flowers and leaves with a black archival ink on white card stock. Color the petals with stampin’pad cherry cobbler. Cut it with the coordinating die. Shape the flowers by using the 3D Shaping Mold and give further shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kittools.  Add blue stamens in the centres of the flowers.  Color your leaves with watercolor pencil.

Color a chipboard with white gesso and emboss it with the blue powder. Glue it on the left corner of your card.  (put a cheesecloth and sewing thread under it). Paste over it the flowers and leaves you just made.  Also add cheesecloth, thread and flower on the right bottom corner of your red frame.

To add the finishing touch, stamp with archival black ink some little snow balls and cut with the appropriate die. Glue it on the card (on the tree) and add glitter on it with stickles diamond.

Instructions: The finished card measures 6 inches by 4 inches. Cut a piece of deluxe flower shaping paper 4 by 12 inches and score at 6 inches on the width side. Fold to make a vertical top folding card. Cut 3 pieces of pattern paper from the Candy Cane collection: 5 3/4 x 3 3/4", 5 x 3 1/4" and 4 3/4 x 2 3/4".

Adhere papers 2 by 2. Glue the first two to the card front with glue and the second two with adhesive foam strip. (Before pasting each of the paper, you can lightly distress the edge of these with a tool designed for this purpose or simply the blade of a scissor.) Use the heart of joy decorative die to make a flourish on each side of the card.

Stamp 2 candy canes with the pacific point ink. Die cut with the coordinating die. Cut 10 more candy canes from white paper and glue 5 to each candy cane. It will give the effect of chipboard to your stamped and die cut image.

Stamp the Christmas poinsettias flowers with pacific point ink on deluxe flower shaping paper. Color the petals with the same color. Cut with the coordinating die. Shape the flowers by using the 3D Shaping Mold and give further shape with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit tools. Add stamens in the centre of the flowers.

Put cheesecloth and sewing thread on your card. Glue the canes over it and arrange the flowers on the card using glue. Stamp a sentiment (merry Christmas) on a paper, and cut it with a tag die. Ink the edge of the tag with the same blue. Glue it on the card with a 3D foam. And thread in the hole of the tag and lace under it.
